Productivity & Productisation Programme Office (PPPO)
With growing competition from emerging regions, the Infocomm Industry Productivity Roadmap advocated that for our ICT sector to remain competitive, our infocomm local enterprises (iLEs) need to transit from labour-intensive business models to more productive cloud and product-based business models which are scalable.
To help companies make this transition, the Productivity & Productisation Programme Office (PPPO) was established within SiTF with the support of the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA). The PPPO provides services such as:
- Advisory & Resource Matching: The PPPO provides ICM companies with assistance on government assistance schemes, productivity initiatives, best practices, software tools and shared services to help accelerate product development and go-to-market efforts.
- Awareness, Outreach and Education: The PPPO organises various outreach events and educational programmes such as infocomm productivity and productisation masterclasses. Held with the support of IDA and the Workforce Development Agency, these masterclasses help infocomm local enterprises to shape their business models for scalable growth.
- Shared Service Aggregation: This shared services portal, simply known as The Portal, aggregates the demand for productivity and productisation-related resources for better economies of scale. Examples include productivity and productisation-related software and services, reusable templates, case studies, best practices articles (accessible at Resource Centre), blogs and forums on productivity related topics.
