PPPO Master Class 1: Building Insanely Great Products!

SiTF Academy, in partnership with Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) and Singapore Workforce Development Authority (WDA), presented the first of a series of courses under the Infocomm Industry Productivity Roadmap.

Andrew Khaw, IDA Senior Director, Industry Development Group, briefed the audience on the Infocomm Industry Productivity Roadmap.

 


Through the promotion of worldwide standards and best practises, SiTF Academy sought to ensure that the most modern and up-to-date challenges faced in product management and product marketing are addressed for today’s environment.

David Fradin, vice president and senior principal consultant from 280 Group, shared on the benefits of pursing product-centric business models, case studies and strategies. Using lessons learned from HP and Apple, and drawing upon his personal experience and research, David highlighted the key factors towards “Building Insanely Great Products!”.

   

The masterclass was held at York Hotel with over 70 participants.

Key Take Away:
Participants learnt that great products need not depend on luck nor just happen to come about by chance. This 1st Master Class touched on the importance of companies adopting process and methodology for product management life cycle. The 280 Group (www.280group.com) took 70 participants through their Optimal Product Process™ that will help companies create and deliver products that delight customer; resulting in maximum revenues and profitability for the companies.
