Key Take Away –  Companies are all familiar with SDLC (software/system development life cycle) process. This step-by-step method may take too long to meet the fast and ever changing environment we faced today. So came Agile software development; a conceptual framework that embraces tight interactions throughout the development cycle. Agile has evolved into a group of software development methods based on iterative and incremental development, where requirements and solutions came through collaboration between self-organizing, cross-functional teams. Agile methodology promotes adaptive planning, and encourages rapid and flexible response to change. Jean Tabaka, Agile Fellow, Rally Software and Hammad Rajjoub, Technical Evangelist, Microsoft shared successful adoption of Agile for their products/projects with over 20 participants.
